| Search Tips
The Nutri-Facts database contains food label information on over 6000 food items.
It has a limited number of brand names so it's best not to search for "Ronzoni" or "Cheetos".
You should enter key words that describe the food, such as "pasta" or "cheese snack".
When entering keywords, you have a choice of searching for an exact phrase, all words or any words.
An exact phrase would be "cheese snack"; this means that the search results would include all entries that contain the phrase "cheese snack".
If you searched for all words "cheese" and "snack"; the results would include all entries that contain both "cheese" and "snack".
If you search for any words "cheese" or "snack"; then the results would include all entries that contain either the word "cheese" or the word "snack". Get it?
Another quick hint. Don't search for words like "carbohydrate" or "lipid". These are not foods are they?
The idea is that you search for a food, like bacon, and we show you how many carbohydrates are in that food.
We're trying to make the search engine a little smarter, but until we do please follow these guidelines and we're sure you'll find what you came for.
Don't forget to check out our Fast Food database, it has all the Big Mac and Meximelt info you were looking for.
Lastly, the correct spelling is BROCCOLI. :)
